An alternative to two coat plastering
We can line existing blockwork walls with plasterboard to improve insulation and acoustic properties as well as improving the aesthetics, giving a smooth new finish.
We would either dot and dab boards directly to surfaces or fix a Gypliner metal framing system which allows for insulation to be fitted in between the studs, and is also recommended where the existing walls are not straight.
This system can also be used for ceilings/roof trusses to create a whole new look and bring an older building in line with current building regulations.
The boards would then be either tape and filled or plastered – whatever the client prefers.
